The probe adapter sleeve is to be used when calibrating electronic probes.

How to use the probe adapter:

1. Insert probe adapter sleeve into 3/8" diameter hole in Check-Temp calibrator. (Note: It is best to insert sleeve before turning unit on, so that the sleeve and unit heat and cool at the same time.)
2. Insert probe until it bottoms out in sleeve. (Note; Minimum probe length that can be calibrated is 3-3/8".)
3. Allow minimum of 5 minutes for most accurate reading.

Note: Calibrator accuracy, with sleeve, is +/- 1%.
