Participate in the Horses on Parade
Germanow Simon Companies Tel-Tru Manufacturing Company, G-S Plastic Optics and G-S Supplies are pleased to participate in the Highfalls Brewing Company's "Horses on Parade" community wide event. "Horses on Parade" is a community art project that will benefit several area not-for-profit community organizations.
Proudly displayed, high in the sky, on top of the Tel-Tru building at 392 St. Paul Street, you can see Germanow Simon's rearing horse leaping off the side of the building. "With a rich history dating to 1916, our companies have established worldwide reputations for manufacturing products of the highest quality in Rochester New York. In celebration of our 85th Anniversary (1916-2001) we are pleased to dedicate our Horse AMER-EQUUS in honor of our talented and dedicated employees. Their performance, creativity, and commitment to quality and service make our growth and continuing success possible," said Andy Germanow and Leonard Simon, Co-Presidents of Germanow Simon Companies.
ARTIST: JACQUIE GERMANOW - Jacquie's specialty is multimedia visual arts and she is an educator. She is known for her work as a Sculptor, Portrait Painter, Drawings & Paintings (permanent and private collections). Jacquie's work is exhibited widely in the North East USA.
AMER-EQUUS is based on the Stars and Stripes of the flag modified by the energy, structure and musculature of the horse. "Immigrant energy is what has built our business and equine energy symbolizes be who you are. AMER-EQUUS reflects those ideas."
Germanow-Simon employees volunteered their time to assist Jacquie in creating our masterpiece!
